St. James seeks to be a great family Church, an active, Holy Place of worship and hospitality where absolutely everybody is ;welcome.

The Church of St. James is part of the new Parish of the Six Saints, formed April 1, 2024 by amalgamation of five parishes in and around the City of Moncton.

St. James (the Greater) was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus, a fisherman, and brother to St. John the Evangelist, known as a "Son of Thunder". He was part of Jesus's inner circle, witnessing key events like the Transfiguration. He was the first apostle to be martyred, beheaded in 44 AD by King Herod Agrippa I
